How Is To Work For A Premium Company With A Magic Culture?
This year in February I celebrate 14 years since I joined Miele . I am part of Miele Romania – Brasov Smart Home Division.
After 14 years of activity, I am happy to see the growth of the company, the way we have developed and the future perspectives for development within Miele.
Miele is family company that for more than 120 years provides Premium Experiences for customers when using our home appliances, having more than 21.500 employees worldwide; we all have day-by-day mindset of delivering Quality.
With more than 25 years experience in HR, in creating People and Culture strategy I contribute day by day to make Miele more visible also as a Premium Brand Employer, from our Local to the Global level.

At Global level, in Miele we have started several initiatives and projects, in order to become more visible as Premium Employer.
We have several ongoing international projects with colleagues from many cultures, with different roles who work together to create this MAGIC culture

I am part of Miele Romania - Brasov site. Miele in Romania has 2 divisions: Sales and Smart Home Electronics - I represent Smart Home Electronics that has two areas: Production and Software Technology and more than 450 colleagues/”creators of quality”.
Culture Is The Foundation For A Healthy Company
The foundation can be built with 3 ingredients: Trust, Respect and Transparency
In Brasov we have started since 2012 an Organizational Culture Program. The cultural analysis generated a lot of insights and based on it, projects actions and events suggested by my colleague were put into practice, part of them still running even today.
Close to my heart remained 3 projects with a major impact:
1. Get to know our company – a colleague from each department represented his/her area in front of others, talking about their role and responsibility in our organization – it had a great Impact, created a lot of clarity, transparency and also as a result, eliminated some doubled processes
2. Happy Birthday event – each month we celebrate the anniversary of the colleagues together with their direct manager and the Managing Director – they get congratulations, a birthday voucher, and a cake on behalf of the company, and in only in 10-15 minutes we manage to create a moment of connection with our colleagues.
3. What have I worked for today? As part of our visual management system, each production line on our Shop Floor has a screen where all the operators can see the photo of the final product for which they have worked that day. This creates the “meaning” and contribution knowing that I worked on some products that will be used by someone from the international world.
Culture is the way we are creating and living experiences everyday, and I am proud to say that in Miele we have a culture based on Respect, Trust and Transparency.
This is the foundation being an Employer of Choice in the VUCA World.
